The concept of sowing the seed and its multiplication explained in the bible is the key principle of heavens (Luke 8:11), as it suggests all faithful Christian believers to sow the seed elsewhere possible for reaping a graceful harvest of righteousness. Sowing seed is greatly understood as proclaiming the word of God as it got the power to grow in the hearts of men. Besides, the illustration of seed for cultivation or food in the bible is basically God’s intended provision for all the mankind to survive on this earth – symbolizes the efforts of hands. On the other hand, representing seed as money is the perverted principle of Satan who presently rules the world, to destroy the Lord’s people by introducing the greediness in worldly affairs. Perhaps this seed of money could be an easy way to get hurt unless dealt with the right discernment from the Lord.
It’s obvious that money increases when planted in the form of any trade or other related endeavors – proving not really holy indeed unlike many thought. Even the unrighteous follow the same principle and get the benefit of sowing money especially in the areas of their indulgence. It is written in Matthew 5:45 (NIV); “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous”. For this reason, there is nothing wrong even for righteous to sow the seed of money for their living, if their desires are not wasteful abundance or luxury – since bible confirmed that money and God will not go together
For the true saints of the Lord, sowing the seeds means spreading the word of God and then to reap the harvest of righteousness in the fullest (Matthew 6:33) as they depend the Lord for all their needed provisions of sufficiency. Besides, Word of God says in Matthews 6:31-32 (NIV); “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them”.
Since bible has officially rejected the money as the prime object in this world (Proverbs 11:28), it claims the prevalence of trusting God is more meaningful than trusting money itself. When bible talks about living in prosperity, it is the life of fullness in the Lord as our hearts are overflowing with the joy of the Lord, as it curbs the need of greediness with a mindset of Jesus Christ. Therefore, do not worry much about the prosperity in terms of money; instead think about the prosperity in terms of righteousness as our God is able to do mighty things on this earth for His chosen people. Trust Him unconditionally while rejecting those ungodly affairs of this world (James 4:4). Sowing and reaping is the divine process of widening our knowledge in God where we act with much wisdom in regards to righteousness.
