Prophecy has been an age old act. Stories have it that Aeschylus, the father of the Orestian trilogy, poet, philosopher and playwright, received a prophecy from the Oracle that he will die of a blow from the sky. One day, the poet was hit on the head by a huge tortoise that fell from the sky. Subsequently, he had concussions and died. His misfortune was easily explained thus: A huge eagle swooped on a tortoise and carried it upwards. When, as usual with the eagle’s handling of tortoises, it sought to crack the shell on the next available rock, itsighted the completely bald head of Aeschylus and mistook it for a rock. It then dropped the tortoise on his head and the rest is history.
Everything that happens today globally has been seen and prophesied about thousands of years ago.
Part of the prophecies involve current realities as it relates to earth changes.
Maybe we start with the French prophet, Nostradamus.
After great misery for mankind, an even greater approach when the great cycle of the century is renewed. It will rain blood, milk, famine, war, and disease: In the sky will be seen a fire, dragging a trail of sparks.(11-46)
This refers to the current crisis-economic, Natural disasters, diseases, earth changes etc.
The next is the notorious Mabus prophecy, which some claim may have been fulfilled in Osama bin Laden…
Mabus will then soon die and there will come a dreadful destruction of people and animals. Suddenly vengeance will be revealed, a hundred hands, thirst and hunger, when the comet will run.
Again, this refers to a sign in the sky, a comet that began the tribulations. The current crises build up to it.
Leo Tolstoy, the prolific Russian writer, described such a star
The radiant star, which , after traveling in its orbit with inconceivable velocity through infinite space, seemed suddenly-like an arrow piercing the earth-to remain fast in one chosen spot in the black firmament, vigorously tossing up its tail, shining and playing with its white light and the countless other scintillating stars.
Saint Hildegard, who predicted the founding of America has this to say:
Just before the comet comes, many nations will be scourged by want or famine…the great nation (America) will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and the great waves of water, causing much want and plagues. The ocean will also flood many countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed…
Mary Summer Rain, with her native American teacher and guide, No Eyes, in a question and answer series, has this to say:
“No eyes, a lot of people don’t believe things are going to change”
“What so! They gonna find out how good stuff be when they have no food in the house, in store even! Then they can eat their great stuff. They gonna find out how great stuff be when they no can get gas! They gonna find out but good. What they gonna do with great stuff when crazy peoples running all over? What so ‘bout no electricity, no natural gas, no propane? Huh, Summer Rain, what then?
“Great stuff” being refered to here is material possession.
